My happy place 🌲 Anyone else find comfort and My happy place 🌲

Anyone else find comfort and clarity in nature?

If you’re ever having a hard time staying on track, or if you’re getting a headache from focusing on one task for too long, I highly recommend taking a walk in nature. You’ll most likely come back feeling refreshed and reenergized! 🍃

Believe in yourself and trust the process. You may fail a lot before you succeed, but if you truly believe in your idea, then so will everyone else.
As a writer, I use a laptop majority of the time. As a writer, I use a laptop majority of the time. It’s fast, easy, and practical. It just makes sense.

With that said, there’s something so solidifying about handwriting an idea, planning out an article, or plotting a chapter on paper.

I also start every morning by handwriting in my journal and by prioritizing my day in my notebook. I wish I could do this on an app in my phone, but it just doesn’t give me the same therapeutic or accomplished feelings!

Do you still use paper notebooks and schedules or are you an all-technology kind of person?? 🤗📚
“Speak what you seek until you see what you say. “Speak what you seek until you see what you say.”

I’m not sure where I first heard this, but I have lived my life by these words for years.

As long as you can imagine something happening, then that means there’s a possibility that it can exist in your reality.

Be conscious of your thoughts. Don’t waste time attracting what you don’t want when you can imagine, focus on, and manifest the life you do want. ✨
Let’s chat emotional support animals. More freq Let’s chat emotional support animals.

More frequently, we’re seeing small dogs and cats on the laps of individuals on planes, in restaurants, and out and about in the community.

Personally, I love this. As we enter an era where mental health is prioritized, it only makes sense for emotional support animals to become more of a “thing”.

An emotional support animal is not a service dog; however, you do require paperwork from a registered therapist who you see frequently in order to label your pet an emotional support. They do not require a special vest or other indication that they are working a job.

The job of these pets is to provide some sort of therapeutic benefit to their owner through companionship. The animal provides emotional support to individuals who have suffered trauma, have anxiety, as well as other mental and psychological impairments.

Hope you enjoy this excerpt from my latest short s Hope you enjoy this excerpt from my latest short story:

Elli watched as the leaf landed on top of a little black book. Eli looked around to try and catch the attention of the fancy woman as the book she left behind seemed important. She picked up the notebook and admired its smooth and hard cover. It reminded her of the one her sister used to have before she passed away. Her sister was full of light and was inspired by the smallest of instances. She would constantly illustrate her experiences through the delicate use of words inside of her sacred notebook.

Elli removed the elastic enclosure to see if the woman’s name was written inside. Maybe Elli could return the little black book as she knew how valuable such an item could be to an individual. She flipped through the first couple of pages and found that the section which read “In Case of Loss” was left unscathed. Feeling as though she was betraying someone’s privacy, she reluctantly skimmed through the journal. The entire book seemed empty except for one excerpt that was almost lost in the middle of its blank pages.

“Speak what you seek until you see what you say.” Was neatly handwritten along the 11th line of the 11th page.”

Random question... but does anyone else narrate th Random question... but does anyone else narrate their lives in their head as they do simple tasks??

“... as Camille prepared to wash the dishes, she felt the cool stream of water slowly warm against her hands as it reached the perfect temperature. With far too much soap on her sponge, she rid her mug of the ring of evidence linking her to the last cup of coffee. Camille hated refilling the pot, and no one ever knew that she was the culprit.”

😂😂😂 .... tell me I’m not the only one!
What are your thoughts on tattoos? I was raised t What are your thoughts on tattoos?

I was raised to believe that my body is a temple. This means that I should treat it with respect, love it, and decorate it with intention and meaning.

Tattoos are not for everyone, but they are for me. Each of my six designs represents a memory or experience that I never want to forget. A moment in time where I felt something out of the ordinary, something worth remembering... good or bad.

As I saturate parts of my body with details in ink, I thank the universe for giving me these brief moments in time. The pain reminds me to be grateful that I can live my life the way I want to, because nothing good ever comes without a little hurt.

My tattoos make me feel free, and unique, and beautiful, and if you have tattoos, I’m sure you feel the same way. Embrace yourself. Love yourself. Be brave enough to be exactly who you are.

If you don’t agree, that’s fine too, but be kind and accepting to one another. Just because someone has a full body of ink, doesn’t mean they are less worthy of respect. Just because someone has a flower or a bird forever imprinted on their body, doesn’t mean they are less qualified as an individual or as a human being.

Artistic expression looks different for everyone, and the most beautiful people are the ones who love and value themselves enough to accept others just the way they are. ❤️✍🏻
Confession: I am the type of person who is animat Confession:

I am the type of person who is animated. I take on a lot of tasks at once and I start them passionately. I get excited about ideas and focus all of my energy into creating. I am a true believer that the universe conspires to give each of us what we want, if we structure our thoughts right and work hard enough.

However, I’m human, and when I follow my motivation through with one idea, I put the rest of my life on hold. I have a hard time allocating time to every one of my passions each day, instead of dedicating my heart and soul to just one (Hence why I’ve neglected this page for a bit). I like to do everything with 100-percent of my abilities because what’s the point in not trying?

I am often asked what I do as a career, and I don’t know. I write full time as a ghostwriter, content writer, editorial writer, and self-help author. I am writing my own fiction novel series. I run my own cosmetic tattoo practice. I apprentice as a body tattoo artist. I sell my own original paintings. I consult with companies and design branding solutions, I work with children with exceptionalities... I create and I advocate.

For a long time, I felt lost because I don’t fit into one category. I would feel overwhelmed and depressed because it seemed I had so many directions but no direction. So I decided to label myself in a way that allows me to express who I am and feel good about my journey through life. I am a creative and artistic entrepreneur. I use the random skills that I have to create a life that I love. I don’t have much extra time left in a day, but my day is filled with things I enjoy doing. I don’t fit into a cookie-cutter category, but as long as I can do everything to the best of my abilities, I’m okay with that.

This realization has me feeling free and motivated 🙌🏽

Thanks for listening ❤️

“Be careful of your moods and feelings for there “Be careful of your moods and feelings for there is an unbroken connection between your feelings and your visible world.” - Neville Goddard 📖

Someone once told me that you can reread a book like The Power by Rhonda Byrne a million times and every time something new will stand out.

Books like these have so many messages and lessons that come to you only when you need to hear them. 📖

I came across this quote while rereading The Power for probably the 10th time, and it has never resonated with me the way it does right now. 📖

Take a look at your life and notice how you feel about any given situation. How you feel directly reflects what you receive.

Your feelings tell you exactly what you’re thinking. If you feel bad about money, relationships, or health, you will only receive bad. Shift your thoughts to the small positives in every situation. You’ll feel happier about it, which will lead to happier circumstances.

Reading is a wonderful way to escape reality, lear Reading is a wonderful way to escape reality, learn new skills, and gain insight into different perspectives.

With all of the extra time I’ve been gifted with this pandemic, I decided to reread my three favourite motivational books about the power of positive thought, the law of attraction, and how to manifest the things I want.

In order to get into the zone, I pulled an armchair into my den, threw down a rug, and brought in a little side table, creating myself a cute little reading nook. Here, I can remain undisturbed while I read, snuggled up in my blanket with a hot drink… or glass of wine.

Confession: I also downloaded the audio books so I can listen while I do other things 🤷🏻‍♀️

Check out the blog for the list of the three books that changed my life.

I never realized how therapeutic it would feel to I never realized how therapeutic it would feel to spread a dab of paint across a fresh canvas.

How easily the brush glides across the page, leaving behind a shiny gloss of brightly coloured paint. I play Jhene Aiko’s perfectly harmonized voice as I channel all of my emotions onto this blank page. Tainting it with the hues and shades of my life.

The canvas doesn’t seem to mind, though. In fact, it encourages me to keep going. A mistake becomes a masterpiece and colours that I never thought should go together, seem to blend perfectly into the exact shade that I need. If only life were this accommodating...

Painting has become a release for me. It’s my emotional and expressive outlet. If you’d like to see more of my paintings, check out my very new art page @_camillecreates.
