Take a minute and be grateful for all of the good that taught you how to recognize the bad, and all of the bad that taught you how to appreciate the good.

Someone once told me that you can reread a book like The Power by Rhonda Byrne a million times and every time something new will stand out. Books like these have so many messages and lessons that come to you only when you need to hear them. 📖

I came across this quote while rereading The Power for probably the 10th time, and it has never resonated with me the way it does right now. 📖

Take a look at your life and notice how you feel about any given situation. How you feel directly reflects what you receive. Your feelings tell you exactly what you’re thinking. For my 31st birthday this year, my mother-in-law gifted me with the most beautiful vegetable garden. 🌱

Together we planted an array of teeny plants in carefully plotted areas in the wood-boxed garden. 🌱

Every day I get to spend some time taking care of these delicate little mini plants as they grow into healthy vegetables. I get to turn off my phone and engage and interact with nature. I absolutely love this part of my day. Dedicating a little bit of time to helping something grow from the earth feels so rewarding. 🌱

If you’re looking for a way to instantly relax, or for a healthy hobby that makes you feel like you’re part of something bigger, I definitely recommend gardening!

When you transform your thoughts into words in a notebook, you start to bring them to life. You also start to declutter your mind. A messy mind equals a messy life.

The 4 of 4 Method for easing anxiety. This exercise taps into four of your senses to calm your mind. It can be done anywhere and only takes a few minutes. .

Step 1: close your eyes, find your breathing. .

Step 2: Spot and recognize four different sounds that you hear. .

Step 3: Notice four different scents that you can smell. .

Step 4: Feel four different sensations across your body. .

Step 5: Take in four different sights that you can see.

I’ll appreciate the way the colours on Mother Nature’s canvas blend seamlessly together as if each shade and tone was picked to match perfection. .

The way the birds sing calming melodies as the water lightly drums against the edges of the earth in perfect harmony. .

The way the cool air feels crisp and refreshing as it kisses my skin, reminding me that I am here and alive. .

I’ll smell the dew-filled air and fill my lungs with enough to give me life. .
